Dog in my yard

If you live in the Oakville area ( or nearby) and you are missing a black long haired dog please let me know. Its running around my yard and my litle Reece girl is in heat. ( I HOPE ITS A GIRL DOG) Its very shy and wont come to me. Its been lurking around my neighborhood for a few days but I cant get close enough to see if it even has a tag. I hope its mom and dad live in my neighborhood..

At the corner of Mcintosh and Clover Hill the're two houses and they both have black lab type dogs. Haven't seen anything posted and I live in the neighborhood across from them.

Where are you located?

I'm near Oakville Elem. Its not a lab. I took a pic with my phone but its a really bad pic.. It kind of looks like this....

Yeah that isn't even close to the two that live over here. I'll keep my eyes open for signs.

It's either that or call the shelters to see if anyone has reported him missing. I can come up your way after 4. I'm like 5 mins from you.

are you going to catch it? My dog runs free in my yard all of the time.. I cant let her now...shes freaking out lol

If your dog is in heat that is probably one of the reasons it's hanging around.

I'll try to catch it, but it would animal control you would call.

Does my butt look big?
If your dog is in heat I am sure it is a male hanging around. He will stay for a week or so..If you dont plan to breed your little dog get her fixed between this heat and next (6 months) so get her done in 2-3 months and you won't have this next time (in 6 months). If you find the owner of the dog they can be cited for non compliant leash law..good luck..I suggest NOT letting your little dog out or you could have a real mess...

How is your sasha doing with that other female boxer in the house? you know the one you posted about a few weeks back?

We were going to breed her but the hubby and I are splitting up so no babies for us. Im going to get her fixed ASAP!! I have seen the dog on the other side of our woods a few times but now its in our yard. My cat was hissing at it allll night long, and she never makes a sound. I want to find its mom and dad before I call the shelter. That place is depressing. Maybe Ill call a few of them today to see if someone reported a dog missing...I dont know if tha twill do to much good since I cant catch it.

I adopted her out to a nice family over in Calvert. When Maggie was here they had their moments scrapping with each other, but for the most part they got a long great and little Maggie held her own. :duel:

Are you feeding it? Maybe try some treats. But also be careful.

Thats just horribly mean making bread out of dogs...how does it taste anyway? I would bred my dog but I would never make bread out of it :confused:
