Dog in Owings

I work in Owings off of Skinner's Turn Rd. and there is a dog wandering around my shop. He's a medium/large, long brown hair with a bobed tail (like an OES). He's very friendly. Orange collar but no tags. I don't want to call animal control, but don't want him to get hit by a car either. If anyone hears of a lost dog fitting that description, please let me know. Thanks

If someone says that they are the owner, will you bring the dog inside?

I had the dog inside, but I was hoping if I let him back out he would find his way home.

Please try and keep him inside. Posting on here is a great idea, the owner might see it. Maybe call the local shelter and see if any lost animals fit the description. Animal Control can check for a mirco chip as well.

Thanks for worrying about the dog.

Thank you for not beating me up with some stupid reply, like on the other forum I posted on. I've called Tri County and the Animal Control, but no one has called them in reference to him. I'm going to bring him back in again if he hasn't left yet. Just trying to help him and not get a bunch of grief from other posters. Thank You.

Can you take him to Dr. Brown's and see if he has a chip or maybe they'd recognize the dog.

I just looked all over the business park, and he's not here. I'm really hoping he found his way home. If he comes back, I'll do that. Good idea.
