That dog was probably going to die that night I bet had it not been found. They said it was about half the weight it should have been, and being a good weight, a dog can survive pretty cold temps, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't have frostbite and the dog probably would have been in great discomfort being in that kind of cold weather.
