Dog tattoo?

Anyone know of any tattoo artists that do awesome pet protrait work? I'm wanting to have a 'memorial tattoo' of my old buddy that passed on a couple years back... I'd like to find someone talented enough to create something unique and realistic from several photos, not just copy a picture directly.

The place that closed by South Sandgates rd did a wonderful job tattooing a portrait of my favorite, warmest sheep on my inner thigh before the accident happened with her and she had to be put down.

Do you know the artists name and where they may be now? Everywhere I've found so far, they either have to duplicate an actual photo or the tat looks cartoony!
