Dogs and Lazer Lights

I picked up this grasshopper shaped lazer light at Pet Co. yesterday. Misty (my little dog) and the cats just look at it and ignore it. But Hardly (formerly Harley) goes NUTS for it. Will chase it all over like a crazy dog trying to bite it. It's soooooo funny. :killingme

Be careful...some dogs become neurotic over those things.

My old rottie used to chase flashlight beams! We always thought this was a good trait. Our reasoning was if someone broke in Mo would have been right there chasing the light as the robber was pissing himself!

Harldy was neurotic BEFORE the lazer light. Worst dog I've ever had. Has terrible seperation anxiety. Doesn't listen. Is basically stupid and good for nothing. 65 lbs and was scared to death of that chihuahua I found. He even lifted his leg on my father one day. :jet: But damn we love this goofy dog.

I will keep in mind that it could be come a problem and use it sparingly. But it's sooooooooooooo funny. :lmao:

Yep...box of rocks is right. We used to call him Harley...but as the hubby is an old Harley man..he nicknamed him Honda. :ohwell: My 8 year old called him Hardly one day, and after I picked myself up off the floor, it just stuck. It fits so well. :lmao:

My cat loves it. All you have to do is shake the lazer keychain and he comes running and his eyes get big and glazed over. :lmao: Big boy doggy likes it, too. He sounds like a horse trampling through the house when he tries to catch it. :lmao:

None of my cats show any interest at all.

And I'd be real careful having Big Boy play with a lazer light in the house. :lmao: He looks like he could destroy furniture or something. :lmao: I still say he's the toughest looking dog I've seen here.

Kaiser was scared of the laser at first, but then he had a blast chasing after it. I've only done that once though. We usually just play with a rope toy.
