Wolf-dogs brought to Lebanon thought to have eaten body of hoarder
Rescuer says most are puppies not involved in incident
This group of dogs is the same one Kentucky authorities believe ate the body of their owner, Patricia Ritz, who reportedly had multiple convictions of animal abuse before she died. According to multiple media reports, police found what they believed was her skull and jawbone when they entered her home during a routine check-in.
Haisley was quick to emphasize the vast majority of the wolf-dogs they brought to Lebanon are orphaned puppies who weren’t involved in the incident.
“We’re going to be bottle-feeding them tonight,” he said Friday. “They didn’t eat anybody.”
