I wanna be a SMIB
Did anyone see last nights show on National Geographic channel called Dogtown. It was a show about the retraining of Michael Vicks pitbulls. It was a very good show and what those people do for the dogs is amazing. Im happy that one day they will be able to live a long happy life unlike the one they had with Vick. Those poor dogs had so many war scars, I couldnt believe it. I dont think 18 months is quite long enough for what he did. If you get a chance to see the show, its worth it. Good show and God bless those people who are caring for the dogs.

I tapped it - it is actually a repeat and was on earlier this week or later last week, so it should air again if people missed it. I haven't had a chance to watch it yet but my son was furious and hated Michael with ever fiber of his being after he watched it and said the same thing about his light sentence.

I'll be watching for the re-run as we missed it last night...

Its a feel good tearjerker. I will pray that they all find happy forever homes, except the one dog, I forget her name, I think she will be staying at the resort (icallitthat) forever with her trainers. And the black dog that wouldnt hardly even stand up, he was so scared, he looks so happy now, even playing with other pits instead of fighting with them. I hate Michael Vick.

I think the dogs name is Miley or something along those lines. And I agree about Cherry. What an amazing turn around. So sad hearing that 13 have that lifelong blood parasite. All of this could have been avoided. I really hate people sometimes.

I saw it and am REALLY hopeful for Cherry- although he has a ton of "people" problems, none seem to be aggression.
I really hope he finds a home- he has the most beautiful, emotional eyes.:huggy:

Its a Pitty

What bout all the punk azz holes selling pit bulls out of the penny saver?

I had our neighbor offer us puppies when the sire of the puppies was taken away due to them just letting him roam uneutered, pathetic! I have seen many pits being walked on chains, literaly thick chains because its all about the thug mentality.

I feel selling of pits should be outlawed until we can do something about all of the ones in shelters.
