By reading the article you can see This is to house minors that arrive unaccompanied not to continue the Trump era policy of separating children from their parents to punish them for trying to seek asylum.

Good attempt though!

You mean kids who arrive with people claiming to be their parents. Can you see why maybe separating them while you verify that status might be a good thing for the safety of the children?

So, your position is that every kid coming across the border is doing so in the loving arms of their parents?

Since October, more than 700 migrant children have been taken from adults claiming to be their parents, including more than 100 children under age 4. U.S. officials said they were trying to protect children who may be victims of trafficking or exploitation, but migrant advocates argue it’s the latest attempt by the Trump administration to stop migrant families from seeking asylum.
So, keeping in mind that people breaking laws generally dont breaking more laws, say only a third of those kids were with people they should not have been. How many do you want to let enter the country to be abandoned or handed over to someone to at best use for cheap labor, at worst who knows. Note these sources are not Qanon approved, just regular old news sources.

If you want to assign halos to everyone coming across the border, you go right ahead, but don't accuse me of thinking like a crackpot because I know criminals do criminal stuff. Not everyone crossing has evil intent, but in the interests of protecting children, maybe we dont assume halos all around.

All you've posted is articles that claim thee things may be happening.

Yet you have no proof.

This is your reasoning for separating children sometimes infants from their care takers, caging them and denying them basic needs as a policy?

You've got severe problems.

See, when you have to make your claims as outrageous as possible, even though they are on the face of them implausible at best, that shows your arguments to be off the rails. Caged infants? Denied basic needs? Examples please. Maybe you think all the smugglers and coyotes are all Han Solo type criminals, but in the real world, people breaking laws are usually not picky about which ones they do and don't break.

With no family members to support and protect them and given the often-hurried circumstances of their flight, UACs face a high risk of exploitation and abuse at the hands of smugglers and human traffickers. As of 2014, an estimated 75%-80% of unaccompanied children arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border have travelled with smugglers. The Congressional Research Service states that some of these smugglers sell migrant children to human traffickers and situations of forced labor and prostitution in order to recoup their costs.
Again, whats you acceptable loss rate for these kids? How many are you okay with being sold into slave labor rather than detain them while you make damn sure the people they are with are actually caring for them? The questions you dodge are telling.

You have not proven evena sngle child has been sold into slavery.

Again you are making wild claims with no proof and ignoring, death of children in detention facilities and permanent separation of hundreds of children from their families.

None of these things i said are implausible. The Trump admin argued for them in open court saying that separating children and denying them necessities was part of the deterrent strategy.

When you are prosecute the parents for coming in illegally — which should happen — you have to take the children away,” Trump said in a speech to independent business owners in Washington, D.C. “Now you don’t have to prosecute them, but then we’re not prosecuting them for coming in illegally.”There is no U.S. law requiring that the children of immigrants entering the country illegally be separated from their parents. This administration — unlike the previous two — is treating the adults as criminals and jailing them, which requires them to be separated from their children.

But the Trump administration protested. The 1997 consent decree, known as the Flores Settlement Agreement, didn’t say anything about providing a “toothbrush,” “towels,” “dry clothing,” “soap,” or even “sleep,” the administration has argued.

Therefore, the government now reasons, they shouldn’t be found in violation of the “safe and sanitary” requirement for not providing those necessities.

With as much child trafficking as is going on across ours and other borders - would it kill anyone to CHECK FIRST?

How about - we ask them if they have COVID? No? Ok, we'll take your word for it.
How about tuberculosis? Measles? Whooping cough? Any of that? Ok, no biggie. No, you don't need records, either.
Criminal record? No? Ok. We'll just check that off.

These your kids? Ok. We don't need to check.

This is the same approach that got us where we are today with millions of people believing the election was stolen. "what's the harm in investigating?"

We have investigated, live streamed the counting, audited, hand recounted and people still don' believe it because people like Viral are being force fed lies and repeating them all in the name of "transparency"

Trump has said for the last four years "a lot of people are saying" " I've heard" and now everyone believes every rumor, tweet and Youtube video.

Just like there are less than a handful of cases of voter fraud there are even less cases of children being trafficked across the border to sell into slavery.

Separating children from their families and caging them while denying g them basic necessities is is not going to make anyone safer.
