This is why they make GFCI breakers. I am sure it is on a ground fault circuit because no good handyman would do this without it.

I can see how convenient that would be - phone is dying while you are talking to Aunt Rose while doing the dinner dishes. Happens all the time in my house while wife is doing the dishes, but she doesn't have a place at the sink to charge up, so as a result the dishes never get washed, because the nearest charging outlet is next to the couch...
