The story also says they approached the bison and got too close. The boardwalk isn't a defensive shield. Basically, they approached a bison in his backyard and got too close even though the signs warned everybody to stay at least 25 yards away. Bison was right, people were wrong.

See? We can put labels all over everything and big ass warnings, and Mother Nature still finds a way to cull the herd. :yay:

I was a child when sent to my aunt's house in Mississippi. My cousin asked her if we could visit the cows in their pasture... she said yes, but stay away from the bull. I had never seen a cow or bull so I trusted my cousin to know the difference...big mistake.
