Now, I get your forum name! It is mmmmmmmmmmmmm...donuts! Very cute. Donuts/doughnuts are like a rare treat in our house ever since my husband started the paleo diet. I don't care where they come from. Yum!

We rarely do donuts, too. I love a good, fresh donut. Just plain ol glazed ones, the warm kind. I think it's good for my waist size that we don't have a Krispy Kreme here.

I've never made doughnuts from scratch but I do occasionally make them from canned biscuits. Also awesome.

Donuts that have cooled? Meh. I feel like those are wasted calories that could've been better spent on pie or a nice slice of cheesecake. Or Brusters but only when they have Graham Central Station.

YUM! You cannot go wrong with fried dough. My uncle used to make those and pipe jam or pudding into them for filled donuts. I can't remember the last time I ate a donut - not a huge fan of sweets - but I'd eat one of those right now.

Fresh warm Krispy Kreme are the way to go! When they are cold or have been sitting out at some fundraiser all day- yuck.

I used make the donuts at Dunkin's the old school way back in the early 80's. Now they ship in frozen dough and fry/finish them at hub stores then deliver them to the smaller ones.
