They were on an "environmental tour", glad no one was hurt, but I wonder how they feel about global warming now.

Those folks are very very lucky to be alive. I wonder do you get a free cruise if something like that happens? I probably wouldn't step off land again but I bet many might.

I also don't care about my C.F., but why so concerned about the ice breaking apart? Man-made Global warming is B.S.

I'm of the mind that humans have an affect, but not near as much as they would have you believe. I'm all for going green, not for global warming, but to have the U.S. be on the cutting edge and the leader of green technology, and because it makes good sense.

I now know my carbon footprint. 26 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) equivalent per year which is below the national average of 27 tons. :diva:

Probably agrier than ever. Those icebergs wouldn't be free if the caps weren't melting. :ohwell:

Yeah, global warming causes icebergs. It's a good thing that global warming is a new phenomenon, or there might have been an iceberg in the way of the successful maiden voyage of a certain ship in 1912.

Necessity is the mother of invention.. that being said.. we'll never have a solution to fossil fuels until we run out.

Burn it as quick as we can, we'll get to the greener solution faster.

You must have missed my sarcasm. I was pointing out that Global Warming causes the ice to melt and icebergs to break loose. As if it were a new thing, but no doubt that theory will be in the news soon.
