Because they look very similar.
I don't think those two dogs look anything alike except for color.

I guess if I had a different post of Buster you'd see the similarity. I believe he has Pit in him..no question...but his papers say otherwise.
I suppose my point is that mixed Boxers can look like Pits. What was your point in posting the picture?
To have someone with more knowledge than me point out the Boxer features that would lead the HS workers to categorize her as such. They have other Boxer mixes that you can see it right away, but not on this dog.
That dog looks like a Pit to me. Which is fine - many people want Pits. But why try and pawn it off as a Boxer?
