The movie sucked, but I did like this particular exchange of words...

Father Flynn: Where is your compassion?
Sister Aloysius: Nowhere you can get at it.

The end was a bit of an anti-climax. I was thinking if this ends now (when it did) I will be mad but I guess that was the whole point of the movie-leaving doubt as to whether he was guilty or not..

I thought the ending was more about Streep's character doubting a system (the Church) which shields a man she firmly believes to be a deviant.

I thought the film itself was very good. The four Academy Award-nominated performances (Streep, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams, Viola Davis) were *terrific* and the main reason to watch Doubt.
