Always loved the waiting for shooting time the flights would come in for their morning drinks or to the fields. In 2 hours, 3 boxes of shells, a swollen middle finger, 20 or so doves each. Some times you could drop them right at your feet. Never did like the taste though. Quail was my favorite.This was in Az farm country. I used to pop them from my front yard when I lived in the sicks.
