Downloading Microsoft Office

Has anyone purchased Microsoft Office in the downloadable form? Did it work? I just found out that mine does not have all of the options I need to complete my schoolwork. Some reviews were great, others complained of not being able to download it and Microsoft was of no help.

I currently have the starter edition, 2010. I've already started working on an excel worksheet. I have 2 other trial versions I want to get rid of. That way I don't accidently work in the wrong application. Can I just remove the 3 I'm not using and would my saved documents, excel worksheets etc. open up in the new one?

TIA.

yes, if you do not have the 'works' versions ....... I am not sure MS still publishes this one, but you could not open xls or doc files with the 'works' suite, but you could open them the other way - in a conversion process ....

Thanks. I had a limited version of Office Home and Student. Staples was helpful with what my best option was-- just buy the product key. With some help from Microsoft tech support I now have the full version and works like a charm (so far).
