Need some help guys... my wife is pregnant, and has had Dr Hotchkiss as her OB... she Is very comfortable with him, and doesn't want to find a new OB. He had a contract with civista, which just recently expired. He told us this would happen, and that he would be opening up his own practice once it did. Problem is, the assistants at civista refuse to give us any contact info for him, and we have no means of getting ahold of him. Does anyone have contact info for him?

It looks like he is not on the medical staff for civista anymore, so even if she keeps him as her OB, she wouldn't be able to deliver under his care at civista.
Consider giving the maryland board of physicians a call. While he is still listed as part of the civista hospital practice, they may be able get hold of him via the non-published information they have on file. Tell them that it is a continuity of medical care issue.

As of July 20, 2012 Dr. Hotchkiss will no longer employed by Civista Clinical Services. In the coming months he will be establishing his own private practice located in Waldorf., Maryland (address to follow). This was my first time with Dr Hotchkiss , a relative had a visit with Dr Hotchkiss this morning, he is located in Pembrooke Square in Waldorf, is in private practice, attached to Southern Md Hospital, and I must say, what a great Doctor, put mom at ease, she was a nervous wreck, he took so much time with her, and made her very comfortable about her upcoming surgery. I would recommend him to anyone out there that needs an OBGYN.
