If I were going to be in town, I'd go. What drag shows are and what someone who's never been to one thinks they are are two very different things. The one I went to in DC, you could take children to it.

I find the name of that place interesting. It's an Italian pejorative for a gay person. I guess they are embracing that term. The word translates to fennel but it's used in a derogatory way.

It’s all about tastes. Some people find it entertaining. I don’t really care for hockey or lacrosse. It does not mean others can’t enjoy it.

Didn't you see "Some Like It Hot"? How about "To Wong Foo"? "Mrs. Doubtfire"? "Madea"? Certainly you've seen "Tootsie"? Men in drag is a time-honored comedy tradition.

If you've never seen a drag show I highly recommend it, but not if you don't enjoy campy entertainment.
