back in the day of Pentium II computers I know a couple of people that did
- it worked ok for them
what exactly are you trying to accomplish ?

one has to 'train' Dragon 1st before using the application

I'm interested in Dragon as well for my son who is dyslexic. Does anyone know if there is an app that is compatible with an andriod tablet?

Letter writing, lists, stuff like that nothing fancy. Unless I get inspired and write a novel on forum life.

I am guessing this is PC based ...

my iPhone 4s will 'take' dictation ..
... although I speak like I have a mouth full of marbles

and I have so speak v e r y s l o w l y .....
otherwise it is fine ....

my windows 7 has some feature for setting up a microphone in the 'sound' settings

otherwise:

Control Panel\Ease of Access\Speech Recognition

I am not sure you can dictate directly into notepad .... my iMac you can
