Dropping signal

Why does the scanner keep dropping its signal? After about 1/2 hour it is gone.

Which one, Calvert, St. Marys, or Charles?

I operate the Calvert feed and it is running well, should not be dropping folks or only very rarely. It will perform a auto-reset occasionlly, if I get a burp in my internet connectivity service, however since I switched to DSL the drop rate went *way* down.

With Comcast cable I was getting a connectivity drop about every 2 hours, granted a short drop of only maybe 30 seconds to a couple of minutes. With Verizon DSL I get a short drop about once every two or three days, and often the drop is so short that the server buffers though it.
