I am not sure when it happened, but Drudge isn't even remotely conservative leaning. Hasn't been for many years. I think it might have started when Trump announced he was running in 2015. But it reads more like an MSNBC site, except even more left-leaning, now. My gut tells me that it must be that someone other than Matt Drudge is in charge. A few years back it was rumored he had sold the site - which would explain a lot - but that to my knowledge hasn't been validated.
However -
I do now like going to -- the Noah Report, which looks like it almost entirely, but - it definitely leans a bit more right.
Don't get me wrong - I read the WaPo and NYT and others, like the Atlantic and so on. I still read Drudge. I want to keep abreast of everything, and if I spend all my time only reading right-leaning stuff - I'm bound to get stuff wrong.
But the fact is, if I restrict my reading to the major outlets or do Google searches - I'm almost never going to arrive at an unbiased or non-left-leaning version of the story. To get THAT, I typically have to go through a few PAGES of searches before I get to news reports that aren't carbon copies of the same information.
