(March 9) - A vast array of pharmaceuticals — including antibiotics, anti-convulsants, mood stabilizers and sex hormones — have been found in the drinking water supplies of at least 41 million Americans, an Associated Press investigation shows.


I was wondering what was going on with all of the pregnant women these days.

Just saw the commercial for this report on Fox5. That's a huge number. I will assume I'm included.

"Even users of bottled water and home filtration systems don't necessarily avoid exposure. Bottlers, some of which simply repackage tap water, do not typically treat or test for pharmaceuticals, according to the industry's main trade group. The same goes for the makers of home filtration systems." Link

Well that sucks, so much for plan B...

What disturbs me most about this is that the source of the medications is other people's sh!t.

We don't know. Maryland, for a state that's so concerned about the enviroment and our health, doesn't test for drugs in the water supply.

WTF are they doing? They tax us for the air we breathe yet nothing positive gets accomplished.

Yeah but treated water has that too. It started out in the ground or in a resevoir.
