Interested in the idea of an all originals rock project covering several genres?
Off-the-ground all originals rock project needs a new drummer (vocals a plus). We want someone capable of understanding what "timing" means and is capable of playing beats other than beginner straight beats, with the knowledge of skillful drumming techniques, who also can accept constructive critisism as an "idea input" and not assume that we are telling you what to play. Diversity is key here, and we need someone willing to standout and not be afraid of originality.
We rehearse in Hughesville, Md on Saturday evenings from 6pm to 10-11pm. Currently the group consists of 2 guitars, vocals, and bass.
The goal of the band is to complete the member line up with a "new" drummer and record a 5 song demo, with full intentions of completing 10 songs overall and start with opening act performances and progress to mutli-band and self produced concerts to market the band.
We have no intentions of playing 4 set gigs in a local bar, so, long story short, we are not a local bar cover band, we are looking past that particular, cliche, worn out, go-nowhere situation, and we're not making any money.
We are all 30-34 years old, seasoned, experienced, dedicated and dead serious musicians who expect to have a lot of fun.
We will not consider those interested who have the following issues:
1) Drug/alcohol abuse
(an asprin and a beer or two is fine)
2) Spouse/girlfriend -
(leave ball & chain issues at home)
3) Come to rehearsals by yourself -
(not a time to hang out with your buddies)
