Dry Dock now La Vela Italian

Last August, I asked the question on here if Dry Dock had closed because of 'Rona but never really got a clear answer. Well I now see La Vela Italian Restaurant is now in it's place. Anyone been yet? Opinions?

I see this is part of a "restaurant group" - Amalfi in Stevensville, Bacco in Abingdon, Good Guys in Pikesville, Limoncello in St. Michael's and Baltimore, Little Carmines in Severna Park, Pour House in Stevensville, Red Eye's Dock Bar in Grasonville, Spaghetti House in Easton, and Vibe in Annapolis. Haven't been to either.

Haven't been to either.

Wife and I went Christmas Eve. It was ok. Not spectacular. We found Il Piccolo Morso in Leonardtown (in the old Urban Barbecue) to be excellent, with great service.

Two different sets of friends went there. One group said it was great; the other said it sucked.

We went there 3 days after it opened in November. It was very good overall with a couple minor complaints.
