As soon as I got off the phone, I was back up & running.
What would cause that to happen?
Thanks in advance.
Do you have your adapter jack plugged in? It should separate the phone and DSL lines.Nanny Pam said:When I got a phone call, I lost my DSL internet connection.

You mean the filter? Thats just to keep the noise off the phone line (mine doesn't work very well). I'm thinking a problem with the phone lines. Either that or sunspots.bresamil said:Do you have your adapter jack plugged in? It should separate the phone and DSL lines.
Call the phone company and report it. You may have a definite problem.Nanny Pam said:It just did it again.

Access your wireless router and change the channel.. OR if your phone is capable, change the channel on it.. if you call the phone company they can give you a different color squelch that will have the same effect, but it's costly and time consuming.Nanny Pam said:ding-ding-ding! Check and make sure all phone jacks that are in use, no matter what, have a filter on them, and of course, the one you use for DSL doesn't have one on it.
WOW, that would be some seriously long and thick pubic hair for it to interfere like thatgumby said:It's Bushs' fault
As long as there is nothing plugged into it you should be fine. Butin the future if he does get a phone you will need a filter.. Is it on the North Side or the South side of the house?Bronwyn said:My son has a phone line in his room with no phone on it right now. Should that have a filter even though there is nothing plugged in?
