DSL south of Lexington Park?

Does anyone know if there is anyone that offers DSL south of Lexington Park??

I am pretty sure that you need to be within 7 miles of a substation. There is a substation in Ridge.

2 miles as the crow flies, is what Verizon told me... there's this dude my parents neighbor knows who has it but his next door neighbor cant get it

Not all parts of Lexington Park have it though. I lived on Pegg Road and I couldn't get it. You need to be near a sub-station, otherwise dial-up, cable modem or direcway.

how to find out if you can get DSL

I posted a thread a while back about the best providers becuase I was sick of MSN and my slow connection...also did some research on DSL. Every search engine I used asked for my phone number and the reply was always the same, NOT AVAILABLE in your area...arghhhhhhhh. If you go to this page you can search on your phone number...
