The movie Tombstone was made in 1993, one of my all time favorite movies. All this time, up to this week, always wondered what kind of saying was "I'm your huckleberry"..It's actually, "I'm your huckle bearer"...a huckle being the strap or handle on the side of a coffin...

Yeah, waiting for the 'ya big dummy' pile-ons to start...

Had one of those moments a few days ago. Went to Linda's for b'fast. She served my coffee, and I added my creamer and stuff. Looked on the counter, no spoon. Waited a minute, then asked for one. Waitress just looked at me, then at my coffee. Then at me, then at my coffee. I looked down. The spoon was in the coffee, she had served it that way.

That's nothing! I once added so much creamer that I completely forgot the coffee! :stupid:

Up. Identified. Lase. Fire. On the way.
Maybe, but there's another interpretation. It is, "I'll be your huckleberry," and it goes back to (at least) that period.

And:

Or maybe even further back:

--- End of line (MCP)

Oh YEAH??? Well, I once sat at a diner just after being shell-shocked by closing on my first mortgage. I ordered tea. And added creamer. And then lemon.

And just stared at it while it curdled. Waitress was nice enough to bring me another cup. My ex just stared at me like I was nutz.

I always enjoy singing along to "Ice Ice Baby" whenever that throwback jam comes on during a drive... my daughter happened to be with me one time and doubled over in hysterical laughter when I got to the part where I belted, "Check out my hoof while my DJs are barking"!

That's when she told me it was, "Check out the hook while my DJ revolves it"... :blushing:

Song mis-interpretation could be a whole thread unto itself.

"It's Saturday night and I ain't got nobody. I got some money 'cause I just got laid..."

My absolute favorite scene is from this movie. When Kurt Russell goes into the bar/casino and bitch slaps Billy Bob Thornton , grabs him by the ear and throws him out into the street!

I think the creamer was bad.
