I received an e-mail from CCPS around 1:00pm regarding the bank robbery in Dunkirk. I have been trying to listen to the scanner at work, however, since I am actually "working" I have missed quite a bit. Does anybody know if they caught whomever and if the schools in the northern part of the county will experience "normal" dismissals???

At 12:15 p.m. on March 4, the BB&T Bank located at 10264 Southern Maryland Boulevard in Dunkirk was robbed.
The robber, described as a black male, handed a teller a note requesting money. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. No one was injured.
Anyone with information or who can identify the subject pictured is asked to contact Det. Nick Defelice of the C.I.T. at (410) 535-2800 ext. 2669.
Calvert County Sheriff's along with the Calvert Investigative Team are on the scene of a bank robbery at the BB&T Bank in Dunkirk located at 10264 Southern Maryland Blvd.
A suspect entered the bank around 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 4. The suspect has fled on foot and remains at large.
No word on a lookout at this time. A perimeter has been set up in the area and officers continue to monitor traffic in the Dunkirk area.
As a result of the bank robbery, Calvert County Public Schools have placed Northern Middle, Northern High, Mt. Harmony Elementary, Huntingtown High and Sunderland Elementary Schools on heightened alert.
