Dunkirk family doctor or peditrician??

Sorry for the cross post, but we just recently moved to Dunkirk and we need to find a new doctor, but most importantly one for my almost 3 year old. Any recommendations? I tried the Dunkirk Family Practice, but they're not accepting any new patients.

If you don't mind driving down to Prince Frederick for a great pediatrician, then I highly recommend Bayshore Pediatrics. We see Dr. Singh, but all the docs are great. They have walk-in sick hours each weeknight from 5-7pm, which I love. I have also had them come in on the weekend to do something simple like a strep test in order to avoid the Urgent Care. The wait in the office is usually no more than 10 minutes.

They are located in the new medical building across the parking lot from Calvert Memorial. Their phone number is 410-535-5959.

I agree, Bayshore Pediatrics is wonderful! We also go to Dr. Singh, who has the patience of a saint. I've heard nothing but great things about the other 2 doctors there as well. Our little one is 18mos, we've been taking him there since he was born.

We've never had to wait more than a few minutes and the entire staff is great to deal with. They'll be happy to set up an appt for you just to meet one of the doctors if you'd like, that's what we did when I was pregnant.

Another Bayshore fan. I've been using them since my first child's birth in 2005. I love them! Dr. Chiu is my kids primary but with sick and after hour appts we have seen Dr. Singh and Skolnick as well and all three are great. Here is their website:

I highly recommend Dr Mehta-He has an office in Dunkirk and Prince Frederick. Both of our Daughters see him (7 yrs old and 2 months old) and he has weekend hours...Hope it helps! :eek:)

I also LOVE Bayshore Pediatrics and Dr. Singh! He is so attentive and good with my daughters! They love him and he makes the whole visit seem like playtime for them! Definitely try them out!

Dr. Singh for sure. I wouldn't go there if it wasn't for him.
