Seems like all those hot shots think they own the road when driving either the "counties property" or their POVs with fire dept. tags. Idiots.

Hope that over driver is gonna be ok. It looks like part of the drivers side windshield is pushed out.

Dont matter...If driver of company 5 vehicle was trained right, he would know how to avoid an accident or not cause one.[/QUOT

He is a "volunteer" that has probably saved several people doing what you and I should both appreciate. I hope EVERYONE is ok. No matter who is at fault!

He coulda yielded or slowed down or been MORE observant entering the intersection!
Hot shot in the Chiefs Truck in a "rush". Just like the cop that killed that girl in that area.

Slow down and be alert, not an idiot!

KAT, what kind of training can you get to avoid when someone blows through a light and strikes you in the drivers door. Oh wait, you have esp and know that it is going to happen and stop so the other vehicle passes in front of you avoiding a collision. Seems to me you have a bone to pick with all emergency services personnel. Wait til you need one, then you will complain that they didn't get there fast enough.

From the MSP according to the baynet update, the fire vehicle had a red light and the civilian had a green arrow. No mention of the fire vehicle responding under an emergency response.

Well, here ya go.....Idiot ran a red light!

Could of been more attentive to traffic, slowing down, looking around, being attentive!!
Called DEFENSIVE Driving..Duh!

Per the BayNet:

"The GMC failed to stop for the red traffic signal and collided with the passenger side of the Volvo. Garrison and the passenger, Aron Morgan, 18 of Huntingtown, were flown by Park Police helicopter to P.G. Trauma Center with serious injuries. Holzberger was flown by Maryland State Police helicopter to Suburban Hospital with serious injuries.

the police said on scanner, "start me a 10-55 card" on this call...which is an alcohol/drug violation. hmm.... and dont believe they were running any calls at the time of the accident.
