I've asked so many questions - and chalk it up to sometimes dementia but -
Is there a solution to avoid paying all those damned fees to use Atlantic Broadband's TV equipment?
We like having three DVR's with our Jayhawk. It serves us well. In addition to the DVR'ed TVs we also have two on cable,
and the rest are streaming devices only.
Next big paycheck, I am replacing the cable modem and avoid the stupid monthly rental. But I don't have a good idea
to rid myself of the three dvr's and the Jayhawk, which is the brains of the multi-room DVR.
Is there a way to buy my own DVR equipment and have it work with ABB? If I did that, would I still be paying
them for DVR service or whatever sends data to the DVR's so it knows what shows are on and what is coming up
for two weeks? Right now I am paying 250 a month, and I keep seeing these ads in the margins offering a LOT less than that.
