WILLOWICK, Ohio -- Nicole Hastings said she's always dreamed of having a wedding.
Now that doctors say the 17-year-old from the Cleveland area has terminal cancer, it's her dying wish. And, it will be fulfilled Saturday.
Nicole and boyfriend Christian Roberts won't exactly be married, but they will exchange vows in a church commitment ceremony similar to the ones used in same-sex unions.
A traditional marriage would leave Nicole without coverage under her family's health insurance, so a friend came up with the alternative.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is paying for the big day, which will include a wedding party of 16 people and a reception with a lavish dinner, a DJ and a cake.
