Dyno Runs

Does anyone else get a kick from going to YouTube and watching and hearing great American V-8 power? Sure does get the adrenalin pumping, and feeling sorry for all the fart-pipe drivers on the road today. Gotta love American muscle.

My 11 year old son is an avid You-tube user and can't get enough of dyno-runs and all the video that they have on "street dyno runs". He just can't get enough, on there for 3 to 4 hours a day when he can.

Meh...

Dyno runs are nice to look at and stuff.

But many variables can skew the results. SAE correction factors, operator error, ambient temps etc...

Dyno runs are a good tool to use for tuning if the SAME dyno and approx same conditions are used.

The real test is at the track. The track doesn't lie... heh...
