Ear piercing place?

Where's a good place to get your ears pierced, other than the mall? Are there any doctors' offices that do it around here?

I am sure the local tatoo place does it..

The one I am thinking about is Ink Wizard next to Subway on the corner of Rte 4 and 235.

I wondered about that tatoo place too, but wasn't quite sure if they did ear piercings for younger kids. I never would have thought of Hair It is, so thanks for that suggestion too!

Dr. Miller's office in Leonardtown does it. Saw the sign when I was picking up my kids' shot records.

One of the salonns on Solomons Island does it to. There is a sign in the window.

I would say yes they would, but its so hard to tell... I do know they selling the accessories that go with all types of piercings...

A body piercing studio. Just make sure the needles are new and they autoclave everything. Don't get it done with the "gun" that's a lousy method to pierce and Painful!

Alot of Beauty Shops do ear piercing, call around and make sure they never touch the earring. Those are the best types of places, I use to do ear piercing when I worked at a Mall.

If you are looking into ears peircing for a child, there is a pediatrician in Waldorff that does ears peircing, you get 2 choices of earings...a gold stud or diamond. You don't have to be a patient of hers, but the child has to be 5 or 7 months and you have to bring a copy of shot record and shots have to be current

For an adult a tatoo place that specializes in body peircing or hair salon.

You should definitely go to a 'body piercing shop' rather than a doctor or a mall kiosk. They have 1000000x more experience doing piercings than anyone else.

I've been to Mystics Body Piercing in Crofton (http://www.mysticpiercing.com, though i don't know what's on that webpage since I can't see it at work).. and I was pretty happy with them. The guy that pierced me was named Matt and while he looked pretty intense he was a really nice guy.

Incidentally, I recommend that you do a little research before you get pierced. A lot of piercers will give you incorrect instructions for how to take care of a fresh piercing. Since earlobes are very resilient, it's not usually a big deal, but it's better to help your body heal rather than impede it, no? http://www.bmezine.com is generally accepted as the definitive piercing reference, though it has a lot of references to the other (less savory) piercings as well! You should definitely check out the FAQs on that site, though, they're really very informative.
