Saw what appeared to be smoke from the top of the Solomons bridge. Is there a large fire on the Shore that we could see from there? Found a couple fires in a Google search, but they wouldn't appear to be large enough to see here.

Could it be the one in Jersey? Across from Delaware City.

Could be doing an agricultural burn. Returning nutrients back into the soil. But with all those chickens over there with all their poop, you'd think it wouldn't be necessary. What say you @TPD?

That’s not a thing around here. But I’d did see what appeared to be smoke as well from the farm today. But it was more toward Pax.

One of our neighbors had a smoldering fire going all day just off of Coster cove. Pretty sure that's what you saw.

Every so often the reeds over in the swamps catch fire and make a huge smelly cloud. Normally it drifts to the east. Nobody tries to put them out because they just burn down to the waterline and die off. Not saying that‘s what’s happening today, but could be.

I was out on the Pax yesterday...the area of the fire is what I'd call Upper Hooper Island. I have not found anything on the interwebs yet, but I am curious.
