So I see a $69.99 auto-renew bill on my bank statement. Well I haven't used Norton since I DL Avast. I'm on hold with them now.

Any secrets to get through so I can cancel this crap?

Contact the new Commerce Secretary.

If Treasury is a tax evader, it only makes sense that they'd name a Commerce Secretary whose company makes fraudulent charges.

Get used to it. This is "change" and "hope."

Norton live chat. "Nipin" in India says I'll have my refund in 5-10 business days.

If you're a DOD employee you shouldn't be paying for antivirus products anyway.

Download them at work within the network, put them on a CD and take them home.

The licenses extend beyond protecting desktops, servers, gateways and networks. Products are available for home computers, home and office firewalls, and wireless or Personal Digital Assistants. By expanding products to home use, the DoD is acknowledging that safeguarding computers at home is as important as safeguarding computers in the workplace. In addition, the license includes enhanced management/system administration tools, as well as global enterprise technical support. And most importantly, these products are provided at no additional cost to the government. However, please be aware that there is a cost associated with some upscale options. These products are available at a special DoD negotiated price.

I had the same issue with them. They provided this number: 1-877-294-5265 in the e-mail, and I was able to get the problem solved. :yay:

Kind of off-topic. Why would you use Norton? All it does is slow down your computer as if a virus has infested it. Use AVG Free Anti-Virus, simple software that does the same exact thing. You wouldn't have to go through all of this.
