eBay Stupidity

So I sold one of the lenses for my Canon camera on eBay. I get an email from the guy today saying that the lens won't fit on his Nikon camera. Well duh! :dork: This should be know by anybody that buys a ~$1000 camera (without a lens).

But wait, it gets dumber...I got the same question from someone else before bidding ended. Since I thought it was such a stupid question, I decided to have the question/answer show up on the auction page (to point out the stupidity of some people). So, it specifically says on the auction page "this lens is for Canon cameras and uses a different mounting system from Nikon cameras."

When he goes to re-sell it, he'll probably also find that he paid waaaay too much for it. Oh well, sucks to be him. I got more for it than I paid...call it a very cheap rental.

I bet he left you negative feedback too didnt he?
So far, no feedback. I'd hate to lose my 100% rating because of a moron, but I guess that's how most people drop.

...and most negs were from retaliation from negs given to non paying bidders...go figure

:yeahthat: You'll always get a few knuckleheads. I usually read a sellers feedback, then go to the buyers feedback to others, to see if there's a pattern. Anyone with 4600, and at least a 98%, is usually more than safe.
