Seems like since the big beautiful bill passed a lot of folks on SNAP are now doing twitter posts of their shopping hauls courtesy of the US taxpayers. What could be their motivation in doing this? Are you proud that you are 1 of the consumers instead of being a producer?

I recall a time when folks accepted welfare benefits with humility. Now they treat welfare like a badge of honor. It sure seems that way from these videos.

Roughly 12% (41.7 M) of the US population uses food stamps. SNAP recipients peaked at 47.6 million during the obama years. That earned him the food stamp president moniker. SNAP usage ebbs & flows along with the economy. Recessions see usage increase.

Here's a list of the most often purchased food items using food stamps:

Notice that fruits & vegetables didn't make the list. Notice what item is in the #1 position. WTF!












I think videos like these are the reason that taxpayers want these programs better administered or done away with completely. Lazy folks gaming the system that will later cry that the system is rigged against them.

been in homes they live..holes punched in the doors and walls, etc. They care about nothing but destroying stuff. Maybe if they have to work for stuff they will appreciate what they have....

Oh and grease everywhere!

The max a family of 4 can get each month in Indiana and Mississippi is $975.00, somehow I dont believe they are getting anywhere near $3,000 a month. A single person can get a max of $292.00 a month,,,,Its just more clickbate.

ebt unlimited card? There is no such thing for the ebt consumer.

Universal Service Fee pays for A phone, not the latest and best that these women want. I used to work at a hotel which housed people sent over from Job and Family Services. The people would have the county pay for their room, an unlimited use bus card, stock the mini fridge and cabinets with groceries, complain constantly that they weren't getting enough benefits, yet have gel nails, braided weaves, the latest iPhone, and let their kids run wild. When we offered breakfast, they would come with bags and load up ALL the doughnuts and bagels and bring multiple cups for all the coffee they could carry. They would get services because they were single moms, yet have the boyfriend stay in the room, even though the county said that wasn't allowed. Once the county stopped paying, they refused to leave and would always have at least one child left in the room so we couldn't do a lockout.

The Universal Service Fee, is the monthly service fee that a ebt retailer pays ill regardless to how many ebt transactions they do each month.
It keeps the retailers cost down so they will take ebt cards.

She just calls it that because she gets so much it might as well be unlimited. In some states the monthly SNAP is $400/mo per person in the household. So if she has 7 kids and her, that's $3200/mo she's getting.

SNAP isn't something I get excited about because at least it's going to help Americans. Illegal aliens and foreign countries getting our money pisses me off. Every penny we've given Ukraine, I'd rather have given it to the most ghetto skank in the 'hood.
