I have a video that I want to cut out the middle and just save that part.

I want to save the "dramatic animal video" part. thats it.
How do I do that?
Assuming you don't have Adobe Movie Premiere....
1. You probably have to save the full file from CNN to your desktop.
2. I believe all Windows XP machines have software called Windows Movie Maker. Try looking for it on your Start Menu. You can probably right click on the CNN file and open with "Windows Movie Maker."
3. From there it is pretty easy - just edit before/after parts out of video. The software lets you save as a WMV file. If you upload this to youtube it will automatically convert to you tube format. Then you can share with web.
