WaPo Reporter Viciously Attacks Parents Concerned About Scholastics Book Fairs Promoting Radical Ideologies

You’ve never read a children’s book like this. Here are two sample paragraphs from a book called George by Alex Gino, about a transgender child, written for children, published by Scholastic Press, and available to children in schools nationwide:

George had seen an interview on television a few months ago with a beautiful woman named Tina. She had golden-brown skin, thick hair with blond highlights, and long, sparkling fingernails. The interviewer said that Tina had been born a boy, then asked her whether she’d had the surgery. The woman replied that she was a transgender woman and that what she had between her legs was nobody’s business but hers and her boyfriend’s.
So George knew it could be done. A boy could become a girl. She had since read on the Internet you could take girl hormones that would change your body, and you could get a bunch of different surgeries if you wanted them and had the money. This was called transitioning. You could even start before you were eighteen with pills called adrogen blockers that stopped the boy hormones already inside you from turning your body into a man’s. But for that, you needed your parents’ permission.

If you’re a parent who objects to this kind of content being sold to your children, if you’d rather your children not have access to it, Ron Charles, a book reviewer at the Washington Post, thinks you’re an intolerant nut and hateful. That’s what he called us at Heroes of Liberty, a new wholesome children’s book company that started a campaign to raise awareness about the kinds of books Scholastic is churning out. Charles set his sights on us, and by extension, all similarly concerned parents. He wrote of us over the weekend, “They all suck from one fetid pool of paranoia and then blow their toxins out the same dog whistle.”

At Heroes of Liberty, we’ve started a petition to get Scholastic out of schools. For this, the Washington Post called us book banners, describing our work as a “pathetic effort to add its embers to the book-banning mania.” In reality, we are among millions of parents who don’t want age-inappropriate material made available to our children by the government. That’s not censorship, that’s parenting.

13 GOP-Led States Sue Biden Administration, Seek Records of FBI Surveillance of Parents

The National School Boards Association sent a letter to the White House on Sept. 29 requesting federal assistance to deal with "threats of violence" against school board officials that the organization likened to "a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes." The NSBA also asked that the federal government use the Patriot Act to prevent alleged threats of violence at school board meetings.

The NSBA has since apologized for the language used in its letter.

And emails obtained in January by nonprofit group Parents Defending Education revealed that Education Secretary Miguel Cardona solicited the NSBA's letter. Yet, the Department of Education denies that Cardona had asked for the letter.

Just days after the NSBA sent its letter to the White House, Garland issued a memo on Oct. 4 directing the FBI and other law enforcement agencies to "address threats against school administrators, board members, teachers and staff."

During an October testimony in front of Congress, Garland refused to retract his memo even after the NSBA apologized for its letter because he did not adopt the same language. This, despite him also testifying that the memo was crafted in response to the NSBA's letter.

"Attorney General Garland testified in Congress that his Memorandum was based on a now debunked and rescinded letter drafted by individuals in the Federal Government (EOP, ED, and DOJ) working with the National School Boards Association ('NSBA') dated September 29, 2021," the lawsuit reads.

These same people are saying that people are born homosexual or transgender and yet it is obvious to anyone with a brain that they are recruiting normal children into their depravities.
Into their sickness, and mental illness.

These are things children need not even know about until they reach at least puberty.
Let children live their pre-teen years in peace without encouraging them into sexual perversions and racial hatred with critical race theory.

The world will be hard enough for them when they hit their teens , let them live their young lives in peace

Let's not portray the vast majority of trannies as how they actually look. They make ugly men, and uglier women.

It's kind of a reverse Bell Curve, or at least one that severely skewed to the left, where there are a few really beautiful "women," and the rest of them range from homely to make-a-freight train-jump-the-tracks-and-take-a-dirt-road ugly.

You'll notice that Blair White, the channel's creator and m-f tranny, uses a certain word frequently, in relation to these people.

Also, I'm old enough to remember when the gay and lesbian response to warnings about opening a floodgate to exactly what we're seeing was invariably "no, no! It's only about the freedom to love and marry whomever you want! Nothing to do with pedophilia or anything!"

Yeah, right.

Chris Rufo: New Book Lays Out ‘Road Map For Returning To Sanity In Our Schools’

“Luke Rosiak exposes the complex network of activists, unions, bureaucrats, and philanthropists who are hell-bent on racializing the American education system and indoctrinating students with left-wing ideologies. This book is an essential read for parents, educators, and citizens who care about the future of American education. It’s high time for our country to get back to basics, and Race to the Bottom provides a road map for returning to sanity in our schools,” he said.

The book, titled “Race to the Bottom: Uncovering the Secret Forces Destroying American Public Education,” hits shelves March 8.

Wash. School's 'Gay and Sexuality' Advisor's Cat Box Caper Leaves Parents and Students Disgusted

cat-tissue-sex-toy-730x0.jpg

Anderson wrote on her Facebook page:

“The most recent entry into ‘Things Ms. Anderson Will Hear About From HR.’ So, in my room (picture attached) I have a cat butt tissue dispenser. Currently, the dispenser is out of tissues. A student noticed this and asked, ‘how do you refill it?’ I paused for a moment, then tell my class ‘I turn down the lights, then put on some soft music and use a LOT of vaseline. I may have retrieved a big container of petroleum jelly I had in my closet (for … reasons …) and placed it right by the cat. Class took a turn after that.”

It’s unclear what else happened in her classroom after that, only that “class took a turn after that.”

A look at the school website shows that Anderson is also the “Gay and Sexualities Alliance” adviser, so that should give every parent the warm fuzzies. Instead of a place to go to fit in, it sounds as if students are given a how-to instead.

One can only imagine how many more how-to sessions she can cram in her one-hour-and-15-minute after-school meetings on Thursday afternoons every other week.

Phillips, who serves as “mayor pro tempore” (an official who exercises authority in case of the mayor’s absence) made her account private following backlash over the tweet, the Libs of Tik Tok account said.

She reportedly updated her bio to include the hashtag “AuntLife” before deleting the entire account.

In a statement to The Daily Wire, Phillips said that her statement was “taken out of context in ways I never intended,” promising to continue to “support all people” as her faith has taught her.

“I am incredibly sorry for that,” she said. “I would like to set the record straight. While I understand the purpose of the Florida bill and agree that sexual education of any kind should not be taught to our youngest children in school, the rhetoric around my statement and this bill has been incorrectly spun. In my duty as an elected official and a Christian I am here to support any and all people.”

Fairfax School Board Meeting Abruptly Recessed as Asian Mothers Come Armed with Books and Charges of 'Racist'

The Thomas Jefferson School for Science and Technology has consistently been ranked the best high school in the country, but has also been in the news as of late after the school admitted students based on a lottery system rather than merit.

A lawsuit was brought by the Pacific Legal Foundation on behalf of Coalition for TJ, which Nomani was part of, against the Fairfax County School Board.

As the Pacific Legal Foundation explained:

Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology—commonly referred to as TJ—is the top-ranked public high school in the nation. The school was founded in 1985 to improve STEM education in Northern Virginia and draws around 1,800 students to its Alexandria campus. Most students live in Fairfax County, but a small number of students from three surrounding counties and Falls Church are also eligible for admission.
As one of Virginia’s 19 Governor’s Schools that serve gifted high school students, TJ receives funding add-ons from the state General Assembly. In 2020, the Virginia Secretary of Education said the Governor’s Schools must come up with ways to increase diversity among their enrollment in order to receive the additional funding and gave the schools until October to submit plans.
The state’s requirements were reasonable and straightforward, but amid growing angst over the issue of racial balancing at TJ, Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) took the opportunity to completely revamp the school’s admissions process in a way that solely—and unlawfully—discriminates against Asian-American students.

There used to be a time when gifted students were put into programs and classes for the gifted, so they could learn at an accelerated pace and level without being held back by a teacher teaching "at grade level". When did these programs and classes for the gifted become woke to include students based on race, and not IQ?

This is just another way the liberals are dumbing down public education in the name of racial equity. The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. This is true with regards to public education. It's time to clean house. I will be home schooling my grandson. Decision made.

Parents fury over Texas elementary school's woke lesson segregating kids by hair color then branding blond children stupid before showing them AUTOPSY photos of black girls murdered in KKK church bombing

  • Fifth grade students at Leon Springs Elementary in San Antonio in January were given a controversial class on segregation
  • The students were divided according to hair color and one group was told they were privileged, leaving the others to clean up after them
  • The disadvantaged group were also given a puzzle with a piece missing, leaving them unable to complete it
  • Brandi and Mike Lininger told their local news channel that their 10-year-old daughter was left unable to sleep after the class
  • She was upset at being shown autopsy photos of the four young girls who died in the 1963 bombing of an Alabama church by the KKK
  • The Liningers said they were most angry that the school had not informed them in advance of the controversial class
  • The Northside Independent School District told local TV that they had reassessed the class and concluded it was not 'age appropriate'

Elementary Schoolers Segregated, Shown Graphic Photos As Part Of Experiment

The outlet interviewed Mike and Brandi Lininger — parents whose 10-year-old daughter was “was confused and hurt by a classroom experiment in January at Leon Springs Elementary,” according to the report.

“All of the dark-haired kids, the brown- and black-haired kids, were treated as the privileged ones and the blonde-haired and the redhead kids were the ones treated not so nicely,” Brandi Lininger explained. The couple said teachers told students children in the fair-haired group were less intelligent. The group was intentionally given a game with pieces missing so they could not play and were later forced to clean up after their classmates.

“She was hurt, her friends, and she named to the principal and to district officials, names of her friends that were crying,” Brandi Lininger continued.

Meanwhile, teachers played a Spike Lee documentary called “4 Little Girls” — which depicts the 1963 bombing of an Alabama church — to fifth graders. The movie contains autopsy photos of the girls’ bodies. Although the teacher claims she skipped the more graphic portions of the documentary, Mike Lininger said that his daughter was indeed exposed to the images: “The things that she said that she skipped over, my daughter was able to describe to us to a ‘T.’ So that night our daughter was unable to go to sleep in our own room; she was scared.”

As China’s military tech dominates, Congress demands science bow to racial ‘justice’

Diversity is hardly a novel pursuit for the federal STEM bureaucracy and its academic partners, of course.

The National Institutes of Health’s neuroscience initiative, for example, requires grant applicants to show how they will “enhance diverse perspectives” and “empower” individuals from groups “traditionally underrepresented” in biomedical research.

The National Science Foundation doles out millions to academic STEM departments for “intersectional approaches” to achieving diversity.

Many universities require faculty applicants in physics, engineering and other STEM fields to explain how their work will improve diversity in science; diversity, equity and inclusion proposals deemed insufficiently enthusiastic mean a candidate’s automatic rejection regardless of his scientific qualifications. The surest way to ace the DEI statement requirement is to be diverse oneself.

But the America COMPETES Act and the Senate’s United States Innovation and Competition Act expand significantly on that obsession with identity and racial justice. The following provisions are found in one or both bills; none has anything to do with actual scientific accomplishment:

  • A new grant program for research on race and ethnicity, sexual orientation and gender identity in STEM.
  • A new grant program for research on harassment of “vulnerable groups,” defined as ethnic minorities, disabled individuals and “sexual and gender minority individuals.”
  • A new directorate within the National Science Foundation to focus on “societal challenges” such as “inequality.”
  • A requirement that the NSF fund historically black colleges and universities, tribal colleges and universities, and minority-serving institutions, regardless of whether they’re producing cutting-edge research. Funding decisions will also favor community colleges that enroll large numbers of underrepresented minorities, regardless of whether they’re producing cutting-edge research.
  • Implicit-bias training for program officers in all federal science agencies.
  • University submission of race and gender data on all aspects of faculty hiring and promotion in STEM, data that will inevitably determine future grant-making.
  • The collection of the race and gender of patent applicants and awardees.
  • Greatly increased funding for the NSF’s chief diversity officer.
  • Workshops for academic-department chairs and federal science-laboratory managers on bias in hiring, tenure and promotion. Discussions will address the “unique challenges” underrepresented groups face in STEM.
  • Subsidies for local school districts that prioritize “equitable access” to STEM for underrepresented minorities. School districts that partner with black colleges will receive a funding advantage.

[clip]

Republican opposition to the House and Senate bills has focused on the federal government’s involvement in commercial research and development and on the huge no-strings-attached cost.

But an equal concern should be the bills’ continued promotion of the irrelevancies of race and sex in science. Scientific research is about one thing: advancing knowledge. Scientists are not in the business of closing the academic achievement gap; that task falls to families, cultural leaders and schools.

Diverting ever more US STEM resources from the pursuit of knowledge to the pursuit of alleged racial equity all but guarantees that a hard-charging, merit-driven China will win the war for scientific and technological dominance, giving it a formidable military advantage.

California Agency Privately Asked Kids About Masks In Interviews Without Parents

As The Daily Wire reported last week, California officials reportedly went into preschools and separated children as young as two years old from teachers in order to interview them about mask-wearing. Fox News reported that Department of Social Services employees went to all three locations of Aspen Leaf Preschool in January after getting a complaint that the school was not enforcing the state’s mask rule, per the CDSS’ response to a complaint by one of the preschool’s owners, Howard Wu.

“Everyone is really mad and then there’s a core group of parents, especially some of the ones whose children were interviewed privately … there’s a group that has been really engaged, and they’ve been pressing to just get some answers again, from all levels of the Department up to the directors of the entire Department of Social Services, and they’ve just been ignored,” Wu told The Daily Wire this week.

Wu added, “Now, it’s kind of gone even past just the issue of the child interviews where people are angry that this government agency, it just seems like they’re not working for anybody because clearly they oversee childcare centers, and so their aggressive enforcement actions against us seem to suggest that they’re not sort of watching out for our concerns.”
