This is a very interesting website, and OH-SO-TRUE! I still count on my fingers, although I try not to be obvious about it...

One day, I tried to help my daughter with Algebraic equations, and the way I learned was different (and easier) than the confusing, stupid way she was being taught...She even understood it BETTER when I showed her my way of doing it. BUT – she couldn't do it my way, because the teacher wanted them to show all their work, and it WASN'T THE SAME as the way she was teaching it so it would be marked WRONG...

Now if THAT's not INSANITY, I don't know what is...
