Election Day is today, Nov. 3, and voters can vote at any one of seven locations in St. Mary’s County. They are the Hollywood Firehouse, Great Mills High School, Leonardtown High School, Margaret Brent Middle School, Lexington Park Elementary School, Spring Ridge Middle School and Lettie Dent Elementary School. The polls close today at 8 pm.
The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office will continue to conduct premise checks at the various voting locations throughout the county to ensure every individuals’ right to vote safely. Our goal is to be there, first and foremost, to protect your right to vote and to stop acts that are dangerous or intimidating while preserving everyone’s First Amendment rights to exercise voting fairly and safely.
