Hubby finally gave up and looked it up on line. Found a kit that had everything he needed...complete with online instructions and video. So he's going to do it. So If I'm off line for a few days...you know what happened!

Thanks everybody. He got everything installed great! But the generator has a GFI, and the house has the ground and common wired together. They are NOT compatable!

Now he's trying to decide what new generator to buy. And yes we are keepin the current one. It's the right size "portable" one for the camper, which is why he bought it in the first place.
