Wild elephant kills 7 in Indian village - CNN.com

A female elephant entered the village of Bhudaheda on the edge of the Jim Corbett National Park, and began destroying crops, said Srikant Chandola, the park's chief wildlife officer. The people tried to frighten it away by beating drums, he said. That's when the animal started trampling people.

Moral of story, don't bring drums to an elephant fight.

I always seem to find these stories comical. My friend and I watched a whole special on elephants (I think it was specifically, might have just been general animals) gone wild pete or something

It seemed like, in every situation, the humans deserved the situation they were in and I was rooting for the elephant to kill more of the cruel bastages
