“You know, here’s what bothers me. By the time we get to 2020, Donald Trump may not even be president. In fact, he may not even be a free person,” Warren continued as a handful of low energy people in the crowd cheered.

I typically challenge ANYONE when they make some generic claim - like this person is such a jerk or this person is such a bigot - originally, it was when I was in that church and someone would say the Bible is full of errors - I usually ask --

"What's the WORST one? You know, the one that bothers you the most? Which one sticks out more than all the others?".

Because most of the time, they can never answer. They're not basing their reaction on events or actions - just feelings.
Kids do this all the time - they claim this kid is being selfish or that kid is mean - and if I ask what they did, they often
can't say anything. Because it's how they feel.

It's still fascinating to me how a certain segment of our population is so easily led and sheeplike, and then throw their ignorance and lack of self-awareness on top of it and it really does blow my mind. It also fascinates me the type of person who will willingly take advantage of this behavior for power and financial gain.

I'm honestly jealous of people like Elizabeth Warren, Hillary Clinton, Cory Booker, etc. I wish I were the type of person who could do that - just lie my ass off right in public with tons of evidence to refute me, and corral the dummies into a mob with no shame whatsoever. They seem to have no conscience at all, probably figuring someone's going to take advantage of these mindless bots, might as well be them.

I must agree. No more Coocoo showing up as the last poster every morning on almost every thread. I still haven't taken the time to figure out how to add posters with the new interface. It would be nice to get rid of a few more. The childishness is tiresome.

I only have a few on ignore, and when I look at my list, there are people on there
whom I am not sure are even still ALIVE, let alone posting within the last 10 years.

Generally I put people on ignore if either their behavior suggests they have no intention
of discussing, but just being a bombthrower, or have been insulting in general to me or
to others. There were a few people on here in the past who just always had something nasty
to say to me no matter what the subject was - it didn't have to be politics or anything in
the news, they just could be relied on to insult me.
