Throwing the deuces
We had a lady come in a few weeks ago to the PD I work at. She got involved in one of those fraud lottery scams. The officer tried to explain to her that it was a scam but she kept saying, " I don't think I played in that lottery but I must have because I won." She came to the PD because she had sent the money to get her winnings but they never sent it to her. I don't know how it turned out because I had to leave for home but as I was leaving, she was still insisting that it was legit and she just wanted her winnings. :banghead:

This is the oldest scam in the book; I really hate people who scam expecting, older people. I mean, seriously, these scam artists put so much effort and brain power into ripping people off when they could probably put that same amount of effort into something legitimate they could make the same amount of money but for much less risk.
