Just Got this from MTA and thought you might be interested if you ride the following Keller Services:
The Emancipation Day Parade that is being held tomorrow, Friday April 16th will impact several MTA Commuter Bus routes that travel across and along Pennsylvania Avenue in Northwest Washington D.C. The latest information that we have received indicates that Pennsylvania Avenue will be closed between 4th and 14th Streets between 10 am and
2 pm with cross streets closing at 10:30 am. Additionally, Pennsylvania Avenue between 12th and 14th Streets will remain closed until at least 9 pm.
All Commuter Bus Contractors have been instructed to complete their morning routes as they are regularly scheduled and the following modifications will be implemented for midday and evening trips:
Southern Maryland Service:
The 901 and 905 midday trips will be diverted to 14th Street and Constitution Avenue. A corresponding stop will be established at 14th and F Street to replace the 11th and F Street stop and, this trip will also stop along Constitution Avenue at 12th, 10th, and 7th Streets. Since the Parade should be concluded by 2 pm, all the subsequent 901 and 905 afternoon trips will attempt to follow their normal routes.
All 909 afternoon trips will be diverted away from the Parade area. The E and 13th Street stop will not be served. All other afternoon pick ups will be made.
The 907 & 903 routes will operate on normal routes.
