St. Mary’s County Department of Public Safety and Constellation Energy Group's Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant will conduct a 3-minute full sounding test of the emergency response sirens at 12 p.m., Monday, Nov. 6.
The full system test is a regularly scheduled maintenance event to ensure all 73 sirens activate. Seventeen of those sirens are in St. Mary’s County.
