Endo specialist

Looking for a recommendation on an endo specialist. My choices are either Cheryl Bud or Ralph Niemann.

Any suggestions?

I went to Dr. Niemann a few months ago for a consult. The front staff was a little cold. I had to pay $50 up front in cash or c/c, regardless of what the doctor was doing or my insurance. (I ended up getting a check back from them once the insurance made their payment.) Dr. Niemann himself was very, very friendly. He took a computer x-ray of my tooth and it was up instantly on the computer. He then went to other patients' tooth files, including his own, and showed them to compare with my own oral issues.

All in all, thanks to the doc, good experience.

Those were the two hubby was referred to. Cheryl Budd didn't accept our insurance so he went to Dr. Neimann and really liked him. I think he has offices in PF and Waldorf.

I believe those are the only options. Cheryl Budd practices alone and Niemann's office is called Endo Associates and they have a lot of endodontists. Nieman's office is in network with a lot of insurances.

Okay, sorry folks, but when I saw the title of this thread, I thought endocrinologist, not endodontist. I was scratching my head wondering what in the heck an X-Ray of someone's tooth had to do with endocrinology!! Now it makes sense!!

BAD experience w/ Nieman!

The demand for upfront payment indicated to me that the most important thing to him is the money. The staff was cold. His office staff was rude and only wanted the money. They acted like they were paid on commission. I would recommend anyone OTHER THAN Neiman. Go for a professional instead.

Budd was excellent!
