Enjoying the NBA Finals...

Larry Gude

Strung Out
...very much.

Initially, when Malone and Payton joined up with the Lakers, I thought it was kinda interesting, but as the season wore on, it began to feel very cheap; two guys who would be stars on ANY team playing virtually for free in regards to their market worth.

Now, I do feel bad for the injured Malone, having played so many years and come so close, but, overall, it's better for the game if a team works to become a TEAM, like the Pistons, and come together over several years, as they have, and work towards the goal.

The Lakers tried to buy it with a thrown together psuedo All Star team and it ain't working.

Of course, they ain't dead yet and most everyone has been surprised by how much better the Pistons are when the Lakers were suppossed to walk away with it. There were reasons for feeling this way.

So, we'll see. The best team is winning so far.

Lakers are toast, the only drama left now is whether or not the people of Detroit will turn it into toast when the Pistons win the championship.

I watched bits and pieces of all games and the main thing I've seen is the Pistons flying all over the court, everyone giving 100 percent and playing unselfishly. The Lakers look beat, no confidence in their eyes, dead team walking.

I have more than one tv -- even soo, its not that murky to distinguish dark bluish-purple from the white uniforms... also I removed some of the slime - its just when it busted all up in the fluid into little particles it became more difficult without taking out the fluid... its a lot better, but I still need to replace the fluid with the particles floating around in it to make it 100% better... its at 70% better as of a few weeks ago! Let me guess, I'm not supposed to know anything about sports too?

Well, now that the finals are over, and Kobe is a free agent; do you think there is any chance he'll sign with the Denver Nuggets?

Hmmmmmmm?
